Question 2006 Grand Caravan Fuel Problem... Maybe?

Hello all, I have an interesting problem. Every time I fill my van with fuel she stalls after about 1 minute of idling. If I start driving the van sputters and jumps for about 3 seconds, then stops.

I'm not sure if these are related to this problem but here are some more issues.

It smells like anti freeze (Strong) when ever I get out after driving.
The temp gauge is at the half way mark.
The heater takes 20 min to get hot even though the temp gauge is at the half way mark.
and
When ever we are driving and need to give the van just a little more gas to get up a hill or keep speed the van will shake and hesitate. We have to give it a lot of gas and down shift to the next gear to get it to stop.

Thanks for all the help and let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks
Dave

Have you had any work done to the van? On the coolant smell, I would pressure check the cooling system and see if you have any leaks.

Nope, the only thing I have done to the van was replace the spark plugs hoping that would fix my fuel problem. It did fix it for about a week, but I just felt the jump again today.

That is exactly what it is doing, and that stinks that the tank need to get replaced.

Thank you Cougar41

I checked the coolant level and I am empty. I defiantly have a leak somewhere. Now I just need to find it.

Thanks master tech
