Default Wiper Problem

2003 Grand Caravan. My intermittent wipers stopped working. They just go to regular speed or I can turn them to high speed but the intermittent range does nothing. All through the intermittent range they just work on regular steady speed. Help please.

Thanks Guys

Found the problem guys. It was a mouse. It had chewed at the four wires going to the plug. It chewed right through one wire. You'd think he would have stopped when he got to the copper. Anyway I repaired the wiring and set some mouse traps and the wipers work as they should now.

Time to go to the shelter and get a cat...lol. Or start feeding a stray right around where you park your cars at night.

The plastic on the wires is manufactured using a peanut oil based release agent for the mold.

I had a problem years ago when squirrels kept eating the ignition (plug) wires on a 79 Carolla. I took some plastic tubing and slit it length wise and placed it over the wires. They didn't bother it after that.

I did the same with the wiper wiring harness after I repaired it and taped it up good.

I'd have never guessed anythingn like that... one more example of man and nature trying to work together with the wrong result... too funny but geez don't mice figure things out for themselves...
