I seem to have a leak of antifreeze in my 2006 grand caravan with a 3.8v6. There is a line that comes off what i believe is the water pump that goes from the pump to the firewall. There seems to be a leak somewhere in this line and it is dripping down on the belts. I would like to know what this line is called and if you can just pick one up at the local parts stores. The line seems to be aluminum and there is a large round thing in the middle of the line at the top, this may be the source of the leak as below it there is antifreeze settling. I noticed there was not heat in the van and after it cooled down discovered in just a day or 2 all of the antifreeze has disapeared so it mus be a large crack. The line looks like a fuel line.

 

Can you post a Picture? there are so many coolant lines in these minivan with rear Heater system, hard to tell you without seeing it.

also, are you sure it is not the waterpump itself that's leaking?
