Default 2000 dodge caravan p0340 Please help

I have a 2000 dodge caravan 3.0 v6 with 135,000 miles. I had a crankshaft seal I had to replace, so I did and everything was fine. went on a road trip and it ran great but when I got back, I was driving and it just died i coasted to the shoulder, got towed home. There is no check engine light on at all but I hooked up my reader and got code p0340 (cps). The van will not start at all and feels like the engine is kinda bouncing while trying to start it. Do you think this is CPS? or something else? How can I troubleshoot this. I cannot afford a mechanic right now and have to get this fixed asap for work. Thank you guy's in advance.

Any wiring in the way when you replaced the crankshaft seal? Are you getting spark/fuel/air?
Here's some info re the code: http://www.obd-codes.com/p034

I took everything back off that I did and discovered my timing belt has been ripped to shreds and I found a little piece of loose metal in there but not sure what it is from. It is pretty beat up? Any suggestions what might have broke in there and caused this?

water pump? maybe a piece of the tensioner? could have broken a piece of the cover when the belt broke. You'll want to replace the water pump and the tensioner anyway.

The old replace the timing belt/replace the water pump scenario. Gotta love the timing chain being inside the engine.
The tensioner as well??
