i have a body shop , purchased a 2010 carvan. luckily we had a 2011 ram come in , was a total loss, i removed factory radio, had sat,nav, u -connect. i purchased the anttena for nav, working fine , now i want to install the uconnect , i do have the button on radio , , when the truck was here i also removed the ipod cable from glove box , and module p/n 5064735ag. will this work in my van and if so what else will i need from dealer to complete install. thanks mike

 

so this is working not sure if the ram has a low speed unit in it but if radio works then i assume that it is low. also look at the bottom right side what it say? RER? there are like 2 or 3 versions of this unit. some equiped with all the bells and others not.

 

you can just plug them all in, see if it turns ON, and the car starts. need to find out if the radio is compatible first.
If it does work, you probably just need to hit the dealership, have them ADD the upgraded radio, U-Connect, etc... to Chrysler's Option database, update the new configuration, and everything SHOULD work.

 

Yes it does work thanks, I still do need the wiring harness and microphone, after i get these parts and install them i will go to dealer and configure the unit.thanks anyways for your help ,

 

yes, you need mic and harness. the factory one is in mirror. but they they sell a small clip on.
