Looking to get some advice. I bought a 2005 caravan sxt. It sat for 1 to 1 1/2 years, no noticeable problems before it sat. Battery was dead and replaced, less then 1 mile the tranny threw a code and now the tranny is stuck in 2nd. The guy who looked at it, said it is a problem with the shift valves, because it sat a coding on the valves worn away and now they are not seating right. He said he could fix this by replacing the valves and boring them out for $350, he is not sure if there was an under lieing problem. So I'm not sure if this is the way I sould take to fix this problem. Any advice would be apprecited.
