03 Caravan SWB w/power locks. The pass-side rear door won't unlock with the power locks, and I can't seem to unlock it manually either. Anyone experience this??

The lock actuator probably bit the big one. Pretty common.

 

Can that be taken apart with the door closed?? (because I can't unlock it and all)

 

The 02 I just bought has a similar problem with the passenger side slider as well, although I can manually lock and unlock the door via the ****.

Guess I'll be looking into replacing the actuator soon...

 

Isn't it odd that I can't unlock it manually though?? I pull on the lock tab all I want, it won't pop to the "unlocked" position

 

I have the Same problem on my 2004 - I can not pull up the door lock **** - it is stuck in the down position and as STUPID AS IT SEEMS ! - It is a catch 22 situation ! -You need to open the sliding door first !! - in order that you can remove the door panel to get access to the Locking mechanisms - - - But the door is locked & will not Open - so I can not get the interior door panel off and that's pretty frickin STUPID - !!:icon_rof lmao:
