Default a/c pressure switch(s);please educate me

I know a little about the transducer pressure switch on passenger side.

1. Does key need to be turned on while checking volts going to transducer?
2. How and can a pressure transducer be checked with a volt meter?

3. What is the name of connector or is it a sensor on top of the a/c dryer.
4. Can the connector or sensor on top of dryer be checked with a volt meter? How?

If you can answer any or all of these questions, it would be helpful to me. Trying to get an education here.

The transducer shares the same 5 volt feed as the TPS and the MAP sensor. All connector can be check with an DVOM or volt meter.

Thank you. Any more information that can be added would be appreciated.

What is the purpose of the connector sitting on top of the dryer/accumulator. Can it be tested? What function does it serve? Does it serve as a low pressure switch while the transducer serve as a high pressure cut off switch?

Can either of the two switches, one as the transducer and the other on top of dryer be jumped to determine if a clutch on compressor to see if compressor does work?
