Default 2011 Grand Caravan projects

New user here! Just traded in my '07 GC for a 2011 GC Mainstreet. Very happy with the new body style introduced in 2011. The 2010 looks too boxy to me. I love the curved looked to the 2011 with the curves in the headlights and tail lights. I would have loved to bought the Crew or R/T model, but this one is what we got. I love it though, it's Dark Charcoal Pearl with the black interior. FIrst project done was the install of the Super Console. I found one in a junk yard in Wisconsin and had it shipped to my house in Maryland. Total cost was $180!! Installation was a breeze! We had the small middle console, which seemed lost in this van. As another thread mentioned, it's a little difficult with electrical connections, but it wasn't too bad for me. Only issue was that I didn't have the mounting bracket so was going to make my own, but after putting it in, realized I didn't even need one! The console actually sat too low in the back on top of the carpet and made a gap at the connection to the dash. Easy fiz here, cut a 2x4 and stuck it underneath to raise the back and it fits like a glove! Love this console in here! So much more storage. Our second project was to install headrest DVD's. We have a 3 and 4 year old, so rear seat entertainment is paramount!! I had a flip down in my old GC, but that didn't look good in there, and this seemed easier. We went with the Chameleon headrest DVD system. I got two headrest DVD players for $280. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but these have been great! They come with premium leather wraps in 3 different colors and install was a breeze. The back of the seats come apart very easily to hide the wires, and the power wire was routed to the power outlet in the console, while the ground was attached to the base of the seat. I'll have to post some pictures of how great they look! My next few ideas are to upgrade to the Mygig radio and a factory fog light kit. I've enjoyed browsing around on here, and just thought I'd share some of my experiences so far.

I am looking at putting DVD in the headrests of my 2011 as well any chance you can post some pics of your setup, I am very interested in seeing how others have approached this type of project.
