My van has been giving me problems ever since i changed the alternator.It takes several tries to get it to crank. when it is running i can turn it off and it will start right back up, but after it sits for a few seconds it does it again. makes me think the fuel pump but it runs smooth and effortlessly like nothing is wrong while its running. I hope someone can help me im pulling my hair out here and dont know what to do.

 

oh, when i changed the alternator i apparently broke the pcv valve (screw on type) and it was sucking air for a few days before i realized it. changed it and it still giving me the the same problem.

 

when my 02GCV started to take time to crank and then once it was shut off it would crank right back up.. it ended up being that my coil pack needed replaced.. as a few days later it went out and it had a relly bad misfire in it.. hope this may help.
