Default 2010 Caravan Rear Brake Issue

After changing rear pads as per the proper reseating procedure of screwing piston back in , the parking brake doesnt seem to function properly....pedal travels and doesnt bite ....Any thoughts?

Yes, you screwed the Piston TOO FAR back and it is stuck. remove caliper, turn it counter clock wise for like half of a turn, or 1 full turn, depending on how much room between the brake pad and caliper have. Try the MINIMIZE the space between the caliper piston and the inner brake pad when u install the caliper.
ALSO, clean the caliper bracket!!! under the clips, this is VERY important on the rear brake of the caravan. if you feel the pad doesnt slide easily in the bracket, you are asking to do the job all over again in 10k miles.
