only got one key with vehicle so they probably only bought the truck from previous owner or repoed it bought one key now either get to see locksmith or dealer which is cheaper?

I would recommend contacting both to compare costs. My experience has been a locksmith is more expensive.

I've did this research and the only information I came up with was jump pin 1 to pin 4 on the obd plug but that won't work when there's no wire on pin 1 unless you've got different pins to jumper besides 1 and 4
