Scary brake light issue
I have a 2006 Grand Caravan. The left turn signal indicator (inside the vehicle) started blinking fast. I knew this is a sign that the exterior turn signal bulb was blown. Sure enough the rear bulb 3157 was burnt. I replaced it with a new one. (I've done this before two years ago) The new bulb didn't work. I look back at the old bulb and notice there was a melted spot at one of the four little contacts. (Anything melting on the vehicle gotta be bad)
So if a new bulb doesn't work does this mean my wiring to the rear tail light assembly is bad? Or can I just change the "socket" (plastic) assembly that the bulb goes into? OR do I have to change the whole tail light "double socket retaining bar"? (also plastic)
Thanks
