Question 2002 Caravan

New to the DF & I found other forums a great help so I am seeking an answer to a problem. The forum has a lot of great people with tons of knowledge to offer. I have a 2002 Caravan that is a real problem to me. Passenger power sliding door will not open manually or electrically. I suspect the actuator but I can't get the door open to change it. Any ideas will appreciated. I have taken the panel off & tried to move the manual lock but no results.
Thank You in advance.

Welcome to DF
I wil move your post to the minivan section. The best way is to move the door panel from the inside to release the lock.

I have the inside door panel off & tried to move the rod that manually opens the door but that doesn't work. Do you have another idea how to open the sliding door?
Thank
Jim..........

is the seatbelt or something in the rear door area? If the cinch latch doesn't get completely closed, it won't release. It can be backed up electrically with a scan tool.

The seat belt is clear, I will find someone with a scan tool. Keep you posted on the results after my fishing trip.
Thanks

02 Caravan power door lock actuator problem.

My driver side, side door lock won't budge. Will it work manually if I remove the actuator?

Thanks

Probably, but actuators are fairly cheap
