How do you get the PCV valve out of a 2008 dodge caravan. I have pulled twisted and then some and it just wont come out.Im afraid i am going to break it off.It will turn but just wont pull up.Help!!

 

Had same problem with 2005.....Had to use visegrips on pcv and pull up with large screwdriver or crowbar...use lots of wd40.There is a rubber sleeve which should pull up with pcvvalve.If not pull it out.The new one comes with a rubber sleeve.

 

i had the same problem with my 07. ended up removing windshield wiper assembly to get a straight pull. used hi-press. vacuum grease when reinstalling new valve...hope it comes out easier next time.

what he said. Worst case scenario, pull the rear valve cover off.safest way to do it.

If you break it off and it drops inside the engine... you know the consquence...
