After owning the van for a couple of months, I'm starting to miss some creature comforts of our previous vehicle (Volvo). Wondering is any of the following upgrades are possible on the SXT model:

Add automatic climate control? The van already has 3 zone climate but not automatic.

Add EVIC? Seems bizarre that they would leave this out of the base vehicle, and would be nice to see the outside temp and mileage at the same time, for example.

Automatic headlights? I've read on this forum that I can buy the switch that has the automatic setting and they will operate on low beam all the time rather than the DRL setting during the day. Anybody successfully installed this switch AND the sun sensor for proper DRL operation?

Are there any other stock upgrades people have done? It would be nice to have them consolidated in one place.

 

MAny times the wiring is in place, but the BCM would likely need flashing to make anything like that even function.

 

well... Auto Head light wise, you need ambient light sensor too, it could be done, but haven't seen anyone bother to spend the money.
the EVIC wise, all Chrysler's EVIC is about the same, it only display one info. Altho some looks prettier.
I believe on Auto Climate ctrl, all you need is a control head. However, I really dont see the point of the upgrade...

The most popular upgrade i've seen ppl did is Nav Radio and Back up Camera.
