could this void my warranty
Do you really think a CAI to a 283HP V6 is really going to do much? I am guessing it will not, but keep us posted if you do, not sure where the cold air will come from unless keeping with the stock intake, does anyone even make one for the Caravan?
Haven't seen anyone install one yet. I would think it could get into the way of the Oil Filter when you do Oil change, I don't see how can you install one.
There aren't aftermarket stuff that VOIDS the waranty, buy a Manufacturer could deny a waranty claim in case of a failure DUE TO the aftermarket part you installed.
Let say if your air filter falls apart and gets suck into the engine, Chrysler will not buy you a new engine. (happens in Diesel trucks)
But let say your engine throw a rod or something, and you have been doing you oil change, and it isn't related to the CAI, chrysler will buy you a new engine.
But let say you installed a Turbo charger into you car, yeah... your waranty is void.

Please do share your findings on a cold air intake (CAI) if you come across one or make one yourself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuso...s_Warranty_Act
"The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket or recycled part. Still, if it turns out that the aftermarket or recycled part was itself defective or wasn't installed correctly, and it causes damage to another part that is covered under the warranty, the manufacturer or dealer has the right to deny coverage for that part and charge you for any repairs. The FTC says the manufacturer or dealer must show that the aftermarket or recycled part caused the need for repairs before denying warranty coverage."
