07 Dodge Grand Caravan with Front AC problems?
My Grand Caravan front AC started out for awhile stuck on high, now it won't work at all. When I am driving I can feel some air but not much. Rear AC works completely fine. We changed the fuse but that didn't help...any suggestions? Don't have the $$ to spend a fortune fixing but on a 102 degree day here I'm miserable!
Sounds more like a front blower problem and not so much an A/C problem. What's in the system? The control panel, relay and fuse in the IPM, blower resistor block or controller behind the glove compartment, and the blower motor itself behind the glove compartment.
You can try swapping the relay out with a same part number relay in the IPM. You can check for 12vdc at the blower motor connector. If it's there the motor is toast. You'll most likely find the blower resistor block or controller is bad. If you have a manual temp control system you'll have a resistor block (~$20). If you have automatic temp controls you have blower controller (~ $60).
