Default 2003 Dodge GC SE Trans leak

I think somebody hammered a flathead screwdriver into a part of the transmission. This had to be done a few days ago. I had this van for over a month and it had no problems whatsoever. Until I pulled out the parking space at work and saw a spot under when I was parked. I got out and looked and it was transmission fluid. I couldn't see where it was coming from since it was fluid in a few spots around a small area. Got home, jacked it up and saw that maybe a flathead was used to pry it open and start a leak.

It's a small thin side pan on the transmission and was wondering where can I buy a replacement. I can't seem to find it online, and at the auto stores they trying to sell me some kit that i don't need.

Here are the pictures I took with my phone:

Swing by your dealership and have them look at it. May only need to show them the pictures. Not positive but I've got a hunch it's supposed to be there. It appears to be the inspection plate on the end on the tranny between the tranny and the engine. That hole is there to more easily detect a leaking torgue converter or shaft seal. Fluid collects in the bell housing and leaks out the hole you discovered.

I'm going to go have it looked at tomorrow at a transmission shop after work.

It's 3 bolts holding that plate up. I took off the 2 small bolts, and seen a spinning disc behind it. I cleaned around that area, and started the engine so i can see where its coming from. it's an extremely slow leak and it looks to be coming from the back where the bigger bolt is located at, and the fluid slides down to the hole. Can still be a bad seal?

I'm in Louisiana and looking to take a road trip to Chicago for the upcoming weekend. Even though its gonna be night driving 95% of the time so it will be cool outside, and no extreme heat, i'm not sure if it's safe to drive it like that.

If you all think it will be ok then i can check the fluid levels every time i stop.

The front pump seals are leaking, it could be a pump bushing failing and cause your leak.

Will that require fully dropping the transmission, or can it just be unbolted and pushed back without dropping it?

It's weird because it doesn't leak all the time.

Thanks.

The transmission would need to be removed to make the repairs.
