Default 2005 Grand Caravan, No Spark #1 & #4

Check with OBD got code P2303, changed coil, plugs & wire but still running rough, trying to avoid replacing the PCM. Any suggestions, I have looked for bad/burnt wires but haven't found any, did find some under the power steering reservoir going to the injector, taped those up individually but still rough idle. Not getting any spark from coil on #1 & #4,

I'm guessing you have a 3.3 engine, and you found some wires for the injection harness melted together? If you did, taping will not help. Replace the injection harness and the PCM. The reason for the PCM is because the shorted wires have shorted out the coil drivers in the PCM.

Thank You, Master Tech, actually it's a 3.8L, the wires I found under the power steering reservoir were not melted together the casing was cracked from being overheated. After I taped them up it did seem to idle even rougher, so I was thinking that it still maybe arcing through the tape. Already spoke to an online store for a PCM, they said it would be flashed and ready to install, now I have to get out the Haynes manual to read about removing the injector cover & wiring harness. Any other suggestions or thoughts, I'll take the advice!!!

The best way to remove the harness is remove the wiper cowl and the upper intake. Not the intake manifold. Takes about 2 hours to do the job.
