Dash went blank

It is a super common problem with the late 90s early 2000's vans there is a spot where a connection on the back of the unit comes loose. I've read you can take it out and solder it to fix it permanently but i would look around how to fix it. Temporary fix, i know it sounds bad but hit right above the gas gauge on the dash around 4 times or more than it should come back on. (Source) I've had to do this on 2 caravans I've owned. Hope this helps

Here is some detailed picks from another user. It helped me. http://www.flickr.com/photos/landar/...7617315319764/
It's very easy to do, took me around 15-20 minutes to get the cluster out. Resoldering the plug didn't help me, so I gotta try again. Could be a bad board, so I ordered one off of ebay too. Cost depends on who is selling it.
If you have a manual transmission range indicator on the dash (non LCD) you have to remove the metal knee panel and the steering wheel column cover off to gain access to the little wire that moves when you put it in PRND12. Not hard at all, just regrets of not getting a higher end model :P
