Default Caravan Installing RKE Problems!

Just got this van given to us, Its a 1998 Plymouth Voyager, 3.0, 4 Speed. Had the aftermarket power windows installed at the dealer from what I can tell. Came with power locks. I am have problems installing a RKE that I got out of a wrecking yard. I can not get it to even accept the signal from the key fob. I have checked batteries on the fob and they are good (one has just under 3V and the other has 2.5V. The RKE I am trying to install does not appear to have a antenna, Did dodge happen to ever have a external antenna?

so you got an RKE module from the junk yard. Your van, I am assuming, had the connector for it. Where did you get the remotes from?

My van did not have the wiring, I added it per the wiring diagrams, Grabbed the connectors when I was there, It came out of a 1996 GC, Remote came with it and it was working on that van. I have even tried swapping out the BCM to no avail. When I put it in program mode via jumping the program wire it doesn't even chirp or anything

Guess I can't say for positive but if your van has a base BCM, it is possible it just won't work the system. There were 3 different levels of BCM, base, midline and premium and everything I've ever seen with RKE was mid or premium.

have you tried to have them programed with a scan tool? I'm not sure jumping the wire will work. And you also have an open recall on your vehicle.
