Rear end noise

Default Rear end noise

2011 dodge grand caravan with 20k miles has a rattle noise when driving over bumps. stops when brakes are applied. when i drive over pot holes or on a dirt road there is a rattling noise from the rear drivers side. when i apply the brakes the noise stops. Any ideas? Thanks

Oh might I add... Im 1100 miles from home with four children :/

I had this happen to me on a 08 and it was the brake pads.
The clips that hold the pad to the piston broke.
Replaced pads noise was gone.
Hope that this helps.

Thanks for the reply! I dropped if off at the dealer this morning, so Im waiting to hear back.

Wow, 2 1/2 months and still haven't heard back? Gee I hope they're not charging you by the hour... or week for that matter!!!

I would find another dealer.....this one is too slow. :-)
