97 Caravan Recirc Door Actuator/Link
Recently took on some water in my '97 Gr Caravan due to clogged cowl drain, and when I pulled the passenger side carpet up to dry things out, found a broken part that turned out to be the recirc door lever that interfaces with the recirc door actuator. I plan to epoxy the lever back on, but have questions about the actuator. When power is applied to the actuator, I notice it rotates the arm through about 330 degrees of arc, rather than something much smaller as I would have expected - if it was doing that when installed, I can see why the lever broke off. I've seen references to calibrating recirc door actuators; wondering if the cowl water may have damaged something to knock it out of calibration, and wondering how to recalibrate it.
I'm afraid if I epoxy the link back in and reinstall the actuator, it will simply break the link off again. Any suggestions on best way to proceed?

First, there is no way you will glue that on and get it to work. The actuator uses the stall amperage to know when to stop and it will break that back off with no problem.
Second, the calibration proceedure is in the sticky at the top of the section title Tizzy1 and others DIY.

Thanks Tizzy. So I suppose I'll have to get a new door arm and remove the remnant of the old arm from the recirc door hinge pin - it's difficult to see how that's attached - is it a press-on or what?
Also, being new to the forum, not sure where to find the "section" Tizzy1 and others DIY, for the calibration sticky - would appreciate a pointer there.
Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure how the arm is held on, I know it is replaceable seperate from the door. Been awhile since I had one of those apart.
