Hello, i am new here i hope you guys can take the time to help me out a little.

My problem: Alright so i bought a Caravan about a month ago with a leaky transmission, It is leaking from the metal plating Around the Drivers side Axle.
I attempted to fix befor by taking it all off and Siliconeing it. But now about 2 weeks later it is leaking again. I do not think that i sealed it right, they do not sell gaskets for them, so i was wondering if anyone have ever done one of these and if so how do i Silicone it right?

I have done many of them. Yes you use silicone(RTV). But the problem may not be the seal or the plate. The problem maybe bad differential bearings.
