Default 2002 2.4L dies when hot

Think I am having same issue as Carlitoz post. 2002 2.4L Caravan 218,000 miles. Runs perfect until it gets hot then dies. Gauges work fine, lights, radio all work fine when it dies. Cranks too. When cold I get a spark at it starts and runs fine. It dies after it is either running for 20 minutes at idle or driving it. Then there is no spark. Just replaced the coil pack and it is still shutting down when it gets hot and it cannot be started until it cools down. If it is very hot it will die and restart after 15 minutes then dies after 2 minutes. If it is stone cold it will run for 20 minutes then die. If there is no spark when it dies then fuel should not be the problem. What else do I check besides the coil pack to cause a situation to have no spark at all when hot?
Thanks JRR

If you are getting a ASD relay code, that would have a lot with the engine dying out. I would start by checking the pin connections and look at the connections at the crank and cam sensors too.

I second the crank or cam sensor. Had a cam sensor once that was getting oil inside it. If i took it off and cleaned it it would work great for about a day then would kill the car and never start. If it would sit long enough the oil must have drained back out because it would start and work fine for a day. Took me a while to figure out that problem.

check codes and repair error causing events first, but here is something else to consider:

is your engine dying under throttle, or when idling/coasting? Engines have separate cold and hot idle circuits. If the problem is occurring only when the engine is at operating temp and only when you're not on throttle, it may be an idle circuit failure.

"Idle circuit failure" causing "no spark"? What am I missing?

You're missing the part where I posted at 2:59am and only read the bit about the engine quitting when hot before talking out of my butt, apparently.
