Default what a week

this slight rank is no way anything against my van, I know things break/wear out

my van still gets me around great

just got a love a run of small problems

started last saturday night, got a screw in the tire 200 miles from home, found a firestone the next moringing, got it fixed $20. and change, (of course I just ordered new tires before I left for the trip, getting them installed tomorrow), and I didn't want to drive that many highway miles on the spare, so thus I had it fixed

then tuesday night after driving up and back to my parents that day 180miles each way, the van was hard to start, pulled it in the garage and trickle charged the battery overnight, next morning, still hard to start, then it died when Ideling at my sons therapy, got a jump went to the parts store, they replaced it for free cost 0

friday morning, went to take my daughter to my sister-inlaws 60miles away and her power sliding door, started then stopped, new from reading this forum that the wire got a break in, stoped at the hard ware store, bought 1 foot of 14ga wire, found 2 breaks in the one wire, cut/splice/sodered/taped/shrink wrapped the wire, put it back together, works fine, if it breaks again, i will rewire all the wires, cost 0.72

then today, wed (so yeah just over aweek) I got in the van after filling with gas and the arm rest broke off, bolt broke right at the threads, I had to drill and use an easy out to get it out, then I swapped the bolt from the passenger seat to the drivers, and put a bolt and some washers I had on the passenger, no wiggles but I am sure it is not as strong as the stock bolt, will pick one up next time I am at the dealers, cost 3.00

so not expensive fixes, or even critical ones, just a bunch in a week

sorry just had to share, I would share my bigger rant about my sons school and bus system,(just started yesterday) but that would take way too long
