1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3l P0505 troubles

I just replaced the iac motor, and the code came right back. It runs fine, but will die sometimes instead of idle when cold.
I'm stumped. Any help? Once running and warm, no probs!

P0505 code means : Idle air control SYSTEM malfunction. Did you verify wire continuity from the valve to the PCM and reference voltage before changing the valve? You can also test the valve.
