Question Code Question P1775,P0700

Hello all,
I have done some poking around, but just cant find what I'm looking for. I have a 97 grand caravan 3.8L with 140,000 miles on it. I have had some slipping in the trans on take off, but after that it shifts fine. I got a trouble code last night after a longer then usual drive( about an 1.5hr each way) I got a p1775 and a p0700. About a month ago I did have another code but I did not write it down, I thought is had something to do with the solenoid pack. If this is the case , where can I get this solenoid pack? Dealer? Auto Parts?
Thanks for any and all help,
Mark

Hello again,
Just a little update, the wife just took the car to the store. It now has a wine noise like a power steering pump going, but the noise does not change when the wheel is turned from right to left. It does change with rpm change. Is this trans on its last leg!!
Thanks again for any help on this matter!

I would guess you have some internal damage, because the whine sound is not good. I would drop the pan and check for any debris in the pan. Then post your findings.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will try to get the pan dropped after work today.
Thanks,

Well I dropped the pan, the magnet was fuzzy, but nothing in the pan. The fluid was on the dark side. And now i am not sure if the whine sound is trans or power steering pump. The whine kind of went away after I got everything back together. Looking at the power steering pump thou, I might have other issues. After a test drive, it seemed to take off and shift fine, but i just took it around the block. I will try to get some more miles on it and see how it goes.
Thanks,
Mark
