My sister has an 08 grand caravan. just noticed the other day that the bottom couple inches of the pass side sliding door it a nearly solid line of bubble rust...
is this gen as rust prone as some of the earlier models?

is this a particularly prone rust spot on these vans??

 

Have her check her corrosion warranty and if she is still within the time and miles, get to a dealer quick. My 2001 rusted in the hood and I was 2 months over on the warranty. Chrysler basically told me to stick it.

 

what warranty?, she bought it used(@ least 2 years ago), with 60some k on the clock, now well over 100k..

 

got a 10 myself. no visual there yet. have u checked the bottom see if the holes are plugged. ussually water it stuck and will cause that.
