Default 2003 Caravn runs rough after a/c repair

Just wondering why the A/c repair would make the van run like it is. Feels like the torque converter is locking up when wou take off and sometimews it feels like the transmission is slipping but its not revving on the tach guage. Thought about fuel pump but that dosent explaing the converter locking up. any ideas would be great?

What kind of repair was done? The newer condensers double as the trans cooler so perhaps the fluid is low or wrong fluid put in? The compressor is going to add a lot of drag onto the belt drive and if it wasn't working before you may just be noticing that drag.

Default 2003 Caravan

Thanks for the reply/ The A/C was out and I took it to the garage to see what was up with it. All that was done was a simple A/C service (freon charged). It deff. is not just compressor drag. Somtimes when you step on the gas the van barley moves, other times you can eithewr feel violent shifting or torque converter lockup at the wrong time. I saw on the net through Goolge search that there are other cases of this after A/C work performed but with no conclusion as to why. Thank you for you response and time.
