i have a 2004 dodge caravan ran fine til the other day started missing. the check engine light came on. took it to local parts store they said a bad egr valve. replaced that same thing. so i was doing some cecking and when plug wire 2 or 5 are pulled off coil pack there is no spark from either. bought a new coil pack and still no spark from the coil on 2 and 5. Any suggestions?

 

Check for coil driver pulse from PCM at the coil connector with a test light. If it doesn't blink check wire continuity using a multimeter for that driver from coil to PCM. If that wire's continuity is good you'll need a new PCM.

 

you could have a bad PCM, but are you sure your wires are fine?
