thing that i may think of is that the main volume of the radio sometimes is not the volume of the phone. meaning you have to set it in the menu. for example for mine with nav i had to set the person volume that spoke "turn right or directions". here is a great site for the radio's http://mofv.com/mygig/BBS/index.php.

Also see what its firmware version you running. may need to be updated. the phone u using?
need not just module, need the mic,and such.

Who added the module? if you added it yourself, the module won't work correctly until it is added to the vehicle's build configuration.

i would try to take it back to them. maybe faulty module or they missed something. i not sure if yours has the same like mine rer engineering menu on the radio. u could try to reset it. but i be carefull what u touch in this menu cause u could cause issues as well.

btw mine is the seek up and down and menu buttons all at once.

i will try the menu "idea". but they have practiced on the fix four times - two modules, two radios and one harness... at least that is what they say.... i have requested rather than practice - put a "u-connect" ready radio in the car... all works perfect in my sons journey.... ???? hey but thanks for the ideas everyone ... i decided to stay with jabba and get oversized wheels 18" with 235-65 mich latitudes .. what is consensus
