Default 2001 Dodge Caravan

Hello everyone, Im new to this from southwest michigan.

I currently have a 98 blazer yes i know gm in a dodge forum.
My truck is 4wd everything works and only has 172K on it. and it has new brakes/shocks/intake Gaskets/ Full tune-up/ Front & rear u-joints/CV Axles/ Basicly it has had alot replaced... but the wife wants a van and she found one.. is a 2001 Dodge Caravan, Silver, 208K Miles, Guy says he never changes the plugs/wires/coils/Brakes/Shocks/struts/engine/trans but has never had any issues so claimed, The guy wants only $900 for the van outright or trade for my truck/suv.

So my question(s) are.

What are Known Problems/issues with these vans?
Would it be worth Trading?
Is it a vehicle just about anyone can work on?
Would i be getting myself into a deep hole?
I can work on cars but money is wh im having to get rid of the nice 4wd.

Thank you ar for taing the time to read my jibbbbberish

I think the guy's nuts about not replacing the plugs and wires but to each his own. However, if he hasn't serviced the transmission, I'd run. I'd also like to see what the pads and rotors look like after that many miles.

He said it sat threw a michiga winter Oober/March due to the previous owner passing... unknown if true, Back drum Passenger side is cracked because he drove it with the back brakes siezed. back brake lines have been cut/pinched. Front brakes causing it to grind when stopping, Trans fluid has a black tint to it. oil is real sticky and black almost like sludge, Motor/trans feel strong but i can tell it hasnt been taken care of. cooant has a black/dark red tint to it, I dont know if its where he parked it but there was a stain under it didnt mention it to him the drivers strut tower was rusted to all getup.... No engine codes, Abs codes, Everything worked..

I tolled him no thanks but i really thank you for the responce..
