Default Dashboard lights don't work

I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas as to why my dashboard lights stopped working.

I have a 2002 Grand Caravan Sport 3.3.

One of the background lights in the instrument panel was burned out so I disconnected the battery, removed the instrument cluster and replaced the burned out bulb with a PC74 bulb from Napa. Before reassembling the cluster in the dash I plugged in the harness and attempted to test the lights. When I put the key in the ignition and tried the lights the instrument panel went crazy, so I immediately turned it off.

Now the lights in the dash don't work. The gauges appear to work, they just won't light up. The dimmer switch works on the odometer and trans display and also on the climate control lights and radio (which are still working). I have tried disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes. I have also tried removing the IOD fuse for 20 minutes. I also checked all of the other fuses in the box and none of them are blown. I also did a self diagnostic check and the following codes where given

100.1
100.5
100.6
400.1

I'm not sure what else to check. As I mentioned before, everything was working fine until I replaced the bulb. Now, no lights.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Default bad bulbs

Update:

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but somehow I blew all of the back light bulbs in the dash. I pulled out the bulbs and did a continuity test on them and all of them were dead except for 1. I bought new bulbs, tested them, installed them and now everything is working fine. I must have done something wrong when hooking up the battery or plugging in the harness. As I mentioned before, the dash when crazy at some point during the process, maybe that somehow fried the bulbs.

By the way the only store I could find the bulbs at was Napa Auto Parts. All of the other chain stores told me it was a "dealer only" part.

This is a great site. I have learned a lot from everyone.
