2000 2.4L base caravan. Compressor clutch coil burn't up, bearing bad too (noisy). compressor itself was fine and cold until the coil smoked. Was given a spare compressor when I bought the van, compressor bearing was noisy then too, the spare compressor was for a 3.0 liter, and had the wrong pulley on it.

Going junk yarding this weekend and if they have one i can get one for 40 bucks with warrenty, if i can't find a 2.4 liter van with a compressor, is there another dodge product that had the same wide grooved belt setup on the compressor that will bolt right on my caravan?? Neon the same compressor?? saw one on a straight six jeep that looked the same but wasn't sure if it would cross. any input would be appreciated
