Default 2007 Grand Caravan wiper button not lit

Last night I noticed in the dark with the lights on that the rear wiper button was not lit up light the other buttons in that row (defogger etc).

I'm pretty sure it used to ...can you confirm? (pretty sad I can't remember even though I've driven the car a zillion times in the dark)

Also is this something I (a mildly mechanical person) can take a stab at fixing and if so could you point me to any instructions?

Thanks!!!

So, which ever switch you have, (if you have auto temp, the wiper switch is up in the switch pod above the radio, if you have normal hvac, the switch is in the hvac control head) the bulbs are not serviced seperately. Ya, I know it's B.S., heard it a million times. Nothing like having to spend $500 to replace a bulb. I think the hvac head bulbs are removeable but have never been able to find a replacement. I usually keep the good ones from the control heads I replace.

Tizzy1 - Are these bulbs something that can at least be desoldered and resoldered on a circuit board?

Yes they are, and you do not have to use the exact same bulb. Just 12 volt mini bulb. However, there is a green condom on the bulb that is easily rip when removing. So I recommend to buy LED of desired color.

However, I've cracked the control head in attempt to disassemble it before... Some of them are just not meant to come apart once they are made.
