Transmission issues
I have 2005 Caravan. It recently came out of the dealership after having the steering gear box replaced. The next day I noticed the transmission noise. At slow speeds, 25mph or less, braking heavily there is a loud growling/ whining sound. It can be felt through the pedal as well as the floor boards. It does not do this all the time, but its to random to pin point. I took it back into the dealership and got it to do it again for the tech. He put it up on the rack and was able to duplicate it once again. The techs are at a loss. Can anyone help with this issue.
yes felt through the floor and the pedal, probably through out the entire vehicle, but never road in the back. Its not an ABS type vibration or braking type feeling. The sound that it makes almost sounds like it is winding down as the RPMs drop

Did you have this problem before you took the van in? Or did it start after the repair? I know dodge has had gear whinning problems with the transfer gears and the power steering reservoir too. What color is the power steering cap?
