2006 cranks but doesn't start
Hi All,
I have a 2006 TC (with StownGo) that wouldn't start tonight. I parked it for 15 min, and then went to restart it and it started, stumbled, and then died.
Now it cranks but doesn't seem to catch at all.
I had my wife turn the key while I listened in the back for a fuel pump hum.. I didn't hear one.
I am looking for some advice on how to proceed.
TIA,
Seth

The Fuel line is below the throttle body, it is a plastic quick disconnect. You can disconnect it and see if the fuel squirt out under pressure, or it just dripping drops.
you look for aline tha look like this, squeen the white(or green on Caravan) part and pull.

you can try, but is you do that, A LOT fuel will spray all over the place.
The fuel line should ALWAYS have some pressure. When u open the line with engine off, it will squirt out, but that isn't much in terms of volume, and will evaporate in a minute.
If you open it up, and no pressure found, THEN you try to put a cup under the line, turn the key ON.
Remove the air filter box and snorkle, it will give you A LOT more rooms to work. Tho, because the Intake air temp sensor is on the box, you might end up with a check engine light after you disconnect it, so you have to pull the battery cable to clear the code afterward.

Is there (or should I) a way to check to see if the pump is getting power first?
Attached is the connector to the fuel pump.. is there a way to pull this and check? Or does that require some serious disassembly?

Thanks.
That doesn't sound like fun, especially with a stow n go model.
Well, this morning I checked for spark and I have it.
The pump doesn't seem to run. Nothing happens when I connect 30 and 87 pins on fuel pump relay. No sound. No spark when I connect either.
If I ohm out between 87 and ground, I see a total open, no impedance. Seems like there is no load on the pump connectors.
I checked voltage between 86 and 85.. that seems fine and I get 12v when I turn the key to the On (Run) position.
Should I check for fuel pressure now? Is there something else first?
Thanks.
