Default 2007 Dodge Caravan Cabin Air Filter

I was thinking about changing cabin air filter on my newly acquired 207 Doge Grand Caravan, but there behind glove box there is no place where it could be. Any advice where to look for it? I have seen references on internet that there might be none - true/false?

Thank you!

no guarentee you have one. Passenger floor, over toward the center of the vehicle. Look up to the bottom side of the hvac housing. There is a large oval, if you have a filter, there will be a cover. If you don't, just a raised outline of where the cover would have sealed.

Figure 1 - Air Filter Door - Typical

1 - AIR FILTER DOOR 2 - LATCH 3 - CLOSED STOP 4 - LOWER FRONT HVAC HOUSING 5 - OPENED STOP

I have just raised outline, no filter access. Does that means this vehicle don't have filter or it's hidden somewhere inside?

Certain models with particular option packages have the filter. That is the only place the filter would be.

If you just have the raised outline, then you don't have the filter.

Default How 'bout for 2006?

Does the diagram and description provided by Tizzy apply to the 2006 models? (Not sure when Chrysler did the big change on the minivans.)

Default 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L

Looking for some help. I am new to this forum so I have no idea if I am doing this post right so I apologize.lol. My van currently has 136k miles on it and I am starting to smell anti-freeze smell from under the hood but it is not leaking anywhere. I mean anywhere? Any idea what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

gc2007sahloff - Yup. Posted in the wrong place. Should have started a new thread because your problem isn't related to the opening post in this thread. How? Click the "New Thread "button at upper left on the Caravan forum's home page. That said, you're here so...

Could have coolant leaking on the exhaust. It drips, you smell it, it disappears. Course worst case scenario is you're burning it via a leaking head gasket. Is the coolant level mysteriously going down?
