I'm trying to replace the driver's side drive axle and can't get it to go back in.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Does the part where the large side of the boot have to be in any particular position?

There is a lock ring on the shaft. Usually needs to be tapped in. I usually tap on the end of the shaft with a non maring hammer. Otherwise the splines just need to line up. Sometimes hard to get it straight, not alot of room there.
