I have searched the site for this issue and did not find a match. On my 2002 Caravan, the two side doors behind the driver and passenger seats are locked "stuck" in the locked (down) position.. It will not unlock using the key fob, the power door lock button on the door or by trying to pull up on the ***** from the inside. The issue started with the door behind the driver's seat about a year ago and, one day, few months later it unlocked on its own. 6 months later the same issue, same door won't unlock...and yesterday the other door behind the passenger's seat has the same problem. Both doors now are locked...any help would be great!

 

The lock solenoids need replacing. Not as bad as you think to get the doors panels off, easier if you just take the seats out.

 

Thank you b1lk1...do you think it is possible to disable the power door lock on the those back doors so they can be opened only by pulling up the ***** from inside? If yes, what should I do?

You can remove the latch and remove the lock actuator from the latch. Reinstall the latch and you will have manual locks only.
