need help with trans variable force solenoid

Default need help with trans variable force solenoid

I have a 2007 dodge grand caravan and the trans variable force solenoid burnt to a crisp i need to know if anyone has ever taken one out and do the pull straight out or do i have to take bolts out somewhere because i cant get ahold of it very well since it is broke very close to tranny and its a tight squeze gettin in to it would really like to find out how it comes out

You have to remove the valve body first, it is in the oil pan. Then there are 3 screws holding the solenoid down to the valve body.

How did you determine that was your problem? Had to google it just to see what it was. http://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/s...ssembly=899671 There is a diagram of the valve body on that page if that helps you any.
