When I hit the auto button to activate my heat it sounds like it is turning on but then nothing blows out. If i use the **** to turn it up and put it into manual mode it will work. Then if I hit auto it will function properly. Also, when I turn it high to say 78 degrees I hear a weird noise...almost like a whirring or rasping sound. Any ideas?

2nd...I had the front pads and rotors replaced at my dealer under warranty and they now will have a LOUD metal on metal sounding squeal when backing up from time to time....any ideas or guidance?
