Remote Start ????
Hello all,
I have 2007 grand caravan (Entervan conversion). It was my mom's, she passed away so I need to sell it. Here is my problem. When she bought it it had a remote start ( you used the key-fob that did not have a start button, you had to press a certain button a couple of times or something like that). she had them disconnect it (she would press buttons and she did not know how to operate it). I do not know if they took the whole thing out or just disconnected something. On th e steering column there is a skreem thing. I do not know where to look for the control module with fuses that has the DNA thing. I have the underside of the dash apart and I am real confused, please help. Pictures or a detailed intal thin would be nice. I have the minivan instructions from Mopar, It does not say where the module is located.

Pete, condolences on your loss.
What are you trying to do? Get it to work or remove it?
Are you sure it's a MoPar remote start?
The module or black box is usually taped or zip tied to the column or anywhere the installer chose to put it.
Now a word of warning. I would leave it alone if I were you. A messed up remote start is a real pain if you don't do it right.
