2000 Grand Caravan Starting Issues
My 2000 3.3 L Grand Caravan was sitting in the driveway idling nicely, and then died. It turns over, but will only start if I depress the accelerator about halfway while turning over. Once started, it runs incredibly ragged and will die if the accelerator is released. Haven't tested anything yet as I need to turn the van around to get it into the shop.
Also, the idle has been loping for the last little while 950 - 1100. It does this when cold, but I think it evens out when warm.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a classic symptom for a bad engine coolant temp sensor. Computer most likely see engine warmer than it really is, so it gives a leaner mixture. The key to that thinking is that it starts when you press your foot down on the pedal. That forces the computer to provide more gas. Also, you said it runs better when warm. Start by testing or replacing the ECT sensor.
Sorry, but I'm not a genius at reading my multi-meter. According to what I could find online, I'm reading 24.9 ohms with the meter set at 200K with the ECT in a glass of ice water, but what from info I found, the resistance should be closer to 70. Am I correct in my readings? If so, then I imagine the engine would be leaned out as the PCM thinks the engine is at about 28 degrees Celsius.
