Question Engine Light 2006 Grand Caravan 3.8

For some reason my engine light comes on, damm eltronics. anyway last week when the engine light appeared I checked engine oil level it was okay, washer bottle was near dry filled that.
Drove up the road about 2 miles engine light went off. Today the light returned, washer bottle was low from use so refilled it, checked oil it was okay.

Took it for a drive, but the engine light is still on. I noticed yesterday that while driving with Cruise on at 55 MPH when I came to a slight grade it dropped a gear, Tach went up to 2200 RPM.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what might be doing this, or does it need the scope read out?

Cycle the key from off to on (not start) three times within 5 seconds then read the codes off the odometer. There are over 100 faults that will make that light turn on.
