2002 Grand Caravan Sport 3.3

I have been chasing a vibration @ Idle in gear with brake on.

I had a friend hold the brake and bump the gas a little to observe the engine for movement.

When done in reverse its pretty solid.

When done in drive I can see the front mount under the radiator flex at least an inch.

OK? No-K?

 

well, try put a floor jack and block of wood under the oil pan, jack the motor up about half of a inch. Is the vibration gone? if it is, you probably have bad Motor Mount.

 

The motor mounts come in seperate pieces. You can get the inner part from Amazon for about $10. I'm ordering mine soon for the same kind of vibration ( all 4).

 

My wifes 2002 Caravan vibrates at a stop in gear... I have been told it is probably the mounts... please do post some pictures and how it went...

 

Hi guys, It gets a little worse with the AC on. The mounts are fine. If and when I nail it down I'll be back. Its on the back burner now.
