While driving home my wife said the tranny went out. No fwd or reverse. When in gear i could hear a clicking sound under the hood. Had it towed home an let sit for months since it is a spare car. I decided to charge batt and start engine to circulate some oil. I put van in drive and trans engaged in drive and van movved foreward. Stepped on brake and gas and tranny held. Put in reverse and got some movement then nothing and could heard low clicking in reverse only. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like tranny. Thats exactly what mine did when it went out. I had forward in first until it shifted then nothing. No reverse at all.
