My 2008 Caravan has developed a problem with the ignition and/or shifter. When I put the shifter in park and turn the engine off, the key gets stuck in the ACC position. Also, on 2 occasions I've been unable to turn the key at all from the OFF position and the shifter gets locked in park. My local dealer doesn't seem to have any answers, so wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar ?

 

I have the same problem on my 2008. I find that when turning the vehicle off, if you push in at same time , it will turn off successfully.Good Luck.
P.S. Does your keychain have alot of things hanging on it. That weight is bad for types of ignitions.
